John's Fittings, Connectors, Ground Blocks
John's Antennas carry many different types of fittings, connectors, and grounding blocks when installing a television antenna :
* F-connectors: These are the most common type of connector used for coaxial cables, which are the cables that carry the signal from the antenna to the TV. They have a screw-on mechanism that creates a tight connection.
* Coaxial cable connectors: These come in various types, including:
* PAL connectors: Commonly used in Europe, they have a screw-on mechanism similar to F-connectors.
* BNC connectors: These are used for professional applications and have a bayonet mount that locks into place.
* RCA connectors: These are used for audio and video signals and have a pin that plugs into a jack.
* Grounding blocks: These are used to connect the grounding wire from the antenna to the grounding system of the house. This helps to protect the antenna from damage caused by lightning strikes.
